MEET SUE
Sue Levine has amassed over 30 years experience in PHYSIOTHERAPY
since qualifying at The London Hospital in 1979. including treatment of Musculosketal and Orthopaedic conditions, Neurological, Respiratory and Obstetric and Gynaecology. Valuable experience has been gained through working at major hospitals including St George's hospital in Tooting, The Royal Free hospital and Frenchay Hospital in Bristol as a Senior Physiotherapist and as a Superintendent Physiotherapist in Southampton Health authority, and working abroad in Cape Town, South Africa where she gained valuable post graduate qualfications in Maitland Manipulation and Mobilisation.
Sue has practised as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Highgate since 1996 specialising in Back & Neck pain and Sports Injuries.
She initially became interested in LYMPHOEDEMA through Reflex Therapy over 20 years ago and is now a very experienced Lymphoedema Therapist (Leduc & Foldi based on the Vodder method). Sue has a proven track record for producing excellent results using evidence based treatments and is always striving to improve the service she offers.

As a result of treating patients with with all types of swelling over many years with specialist Physio techniques, Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and experiencing the effects of Lymphoedema on her daughter, Sue realised there wasn't a one-stop shop (excuse the expression) for treatment of Oedema (swelling) associated with conditions such as Lymphoedema, Lipoedema, Vascular/ Pregnancy related oedema or swelling following trauma, sports injuries,orthopaedic surgery, or following cosmetic surgery (e.g. vaserliposuction).
It's very important that if you're living with the condition, you are able to get information quickly and easily and, most importantly, can be directed to support networks and supplied with constant help managing and living with the condition.
Electrical machines We use a combination Ultrasound, Deep Oscillation and low level laser depending on condition being treated to produce fastest healing.
Without help, it can be very easy for the condition to be overwhelming but with the constant stream of helpful services, blog posts, links and informative channels that NLLP will provide, in person and online, it need not be anywhere near as daunting as it might seem.
