Physiotherapy

Quality assured professional treatment in a relaxed environment at competitive rates

Physiotherapy helps people affected by injury, illness, or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education, and advice.

Musculoskeletal

Fast relief of low back or neck pain, whiplash, headaches, overuse injuries ('RSI'), arthritis may be achieved using techniques such as Maitland joint mobilisation and manipulation, Cyriax Manipulation, Mulligan techniques, McKenzie self-mobilising techniques, Myofascial release, KT taping, supported by appropriate electrical machines including Ultrasound, Interferential, and Low Level Laser.

Sue has trained with the APPI in Pilates, and often teaches patients appropriate exercises as part of postural re-education.

Orthopaedic

Rehabilitate quickly and feel more confident particularly after hip and knee replacement, or shoulder surgery.

Reflex Zone Therapy

Light touch massage applied to points on the feet or hands, corresponding to Meridians, based on a physical diagnosis. Can be used to treat pain, increase movement (e.g. shoulder joint), reduce stress, or boost the immune system by treating the whole body commonly through the feet.

Neurology

Sue has considerable experience in treating patients recovering from Strokes, Parkinson's, and Multiple Sclerosis and has completed postgraduate training in the Bobath method.

Respiratory

Chest Physiotherapy includes breathing exercises and assistance in clearing phlegm, perhaps after a chest infection or for Asthma.

Sports Injuries

Early treatment speeds recovery using advanced physiotherapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises, combined with Myofascial release, Kinesio-taping, Ultrasound, Laser, or Deep Oscillation therapy where appropriate.
